FRP Layer
The external layer is a fiberglass layer, which has a flat and smooth surface with no dirty spots. It has extremely high strength and weather resistance, effectively preventing the erosion of external moisture and chemical substances.
FRP surface has been treated with anti-UV treatment, so it will not fade and maintain its original color for a long time outdoors; it can withstand high temperatures of 80°C without deformation, and withstand low temperatures of -40°C without becoming brittle.
Add flame retardants and anti-aging agents to increase safety and service life.
PET Foam Core
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) foam is a lightweight, recyclable, eco-friendly material. It has good specific stiffness and specific strength. It is an ideal core material for lightweight and high-strength composite sandwich structures.
PET foam board is non-absorbent, strong and easy to cut. It can replace many materials as filling core.
PET foam board can be compounded with CFRT and FRP panel. It can also be compounded with steel, aluminum, plywood and other materials.
Embedded Reinforcement Material
For some applications that require increased strength (such as ambulances and box trucks), reinforced structural materials such as wood, aluminum tubes, fiberglass reinforced plastic tubes, and high-strength plastic bars will be embedded inside the fiberglass XPS foam sandwich panels.
